Palin E-Mail Search Yields Nothing But Good

Last week, the Drive-By Media continued their witch hunt into Sarah Palin's email files while she was Governor of Alaska. Not surprisingly to those of us who have actually seen an unedited interview with Palin, free of the "gotcha" tactics of the Lamestreamers, they found NOTHING damaging.  As CNN's Drew Griffin put it:

Yep, we found out that Governor Palin was, "A hard-working Governor, devoted to the State of Alaska. Devoted to her staff, and devoted to her family. And extremely hard-working."  Wow.  Boy was THAT incriminating!  The last thing we want in our next President is a hard working individual who is devoted to their family.  THAT would certainly be awful, especially if we could instead have a President who plays golf constantly and takes ten vacations a year!

The Drive-By Media's absolute obsession with tearing down Palin has become disgusting.  It's replaced their hatred of George W. Bush and become even worse. It's directed from fear, as I have said dozens of times before, because they don't want Obama to have to face off with genuine Conservatism in 2012, and Palin most definitely qualifies.

Yes, I know Liberals are telling you they think Palin would be imminently beatable by Obama, but it's all smoke and mirrors.  I know some Republicans are concerned because of Palin's negative ratings with people currently.  That being said, those negative opinions will change when Americans are given the opportunity to interact with her without a media filter.  The same thing that has happened regarding Michelle Bachmann after Monday's debate will happen as it pertains to Palin.

So many people who watched the farce of a CNN debate on Monday went in with negative views of Bachmann, thanks to the Lamestreamers, and walked away saying "Wow...she didn't breathe fire or sound radical at all! She sounded very reasonable and intelligent." The same thing will happen with Palin, should she get into the Presidential race.  People believe their own eyes and ears far more than Lamestream Media spin.

So the Drive-Bys have tried to dig up dirt, and they couldn't find anything on Palin except positives.  It's just not working to tear down Palin.  Ain't it grand!  Liberal smear is failing.  Welcome to the world of the new Media.  Should Sarah Palin join the 2011 fray, she will be not only in a great position to get the nomination but also in a great position to beat Obama.

Why Sarah Palin Can Win in 2012

With Sarah Palin's bus tour across America in full force, the debate is hot about whether or not she can win the White House in 2012 if she was the Republican nominee. Thanks to the Left's smear campaign against Palin, some Republicans doubt that Palin could indeed beat Obama. These Republicans think that Palin's image has been so damaged by the Drive-By Media that it couldn't be overcome.

Not surprisingly to those who read this blog daily, I think they’re dead wrong. I don’t buy their premise, not even a little. There are several reasons for this belief. First off, I know that no amount of false reporting can stand up to an individual's personal encounter with somebody. As a Born-Again Christian, I know what it's like to be stereotyped, and to have people find out they’re wrong about those stereotypes.

Popular culture has labeled Born-Again Christians as judgmental, fundamentalist jerks who want to beat people over the head with the Bible and force people to become Christians with threats of Hell and damnation. They tend to think that the deceiver Harold Camping (the guy who claimed to know the date of the Rapture) is a typical Christian. (Actually, in every corner of the Bible-believing worldwide Church of Jesus Christ, Christians felt he was a deceiver and worth ignoring.) When people meet me, they find out that I'm not a judgmental fundamentalist jerk, but rather that I am a passionate Christian who recognizes that I received an underserved pardon for my sins through the blood of Jesus Christ and that I want to share this wonderful good news with everyone so that they can also receive the same pardon by putting their faith in Christ!

When people find out that I am a Born-Again Christian, and meet other friends of mine who share my faith, they realize that the stereotypes they believed are wrong. They find out that a combination of a few bad eggs, a few more good eggs who had bad moments publicly, and a lot of false stories about Christians had given them a false impression of Christians.

The same is true about Sarah Palin. Most of the Americans who truly believe Palin is either a dunce or an evil genius only know her from the mass media attack dog job perpetrated on her, whether that be through editing her statements or the typical media "gotcha" job that they play in interviews with any Republican. Once Palin is out in front of Americans, they will find out that they were lied to...that she isn't an evil genius or a dunce, but rather that she is an intelligent, patriotic American with great ideas for how to fix our country’s current troubles. In short, they will find out their impression of Sarah Palin was wrong.

The Media can lie to people to a point, but they trust their own eyes and ears more than a news broadcast. When they meet Palin at a campaign rally or appearance, they will realize they were fed false information about her and they will be willing to vote for her. This leads me to the second reason Palin can win: Barrack Obama.

Regardless of what the Media is trying to sell about how unbeatable Obama will be, Obama is highly beatable. I’ve spent a good deal of time over the past month or so discussing this very topic. Regardless of claims that we’re out of the recession and that the economy is growing, we’re still in a recession.

Unemployment is at 9%. Gas prices are $4 per gallon. Inflation is rampant, so even though people are out of work or, if they are still employed, under a wage freeze at their job, meaning that while prices go up their paycheck remains the same. Obama’s only solution is spend more taxpayer money and borrowed money (which hasn’t worked at all thus far or historically). The reason Palin can win over Obama is simple: She is not afraid to go after Obama on his terrible, terrible record.

Palin will attack Obama on his broken promises. Do these sound familiar?

- If we pass the Stimulus, unemployment won’t go above 8%.
- If we elect Obama, he’ll close Gitmo.
- If we elect Obama, our troops will come home from Iraq.
- Obamacare will decrease your Health Care costs.

Let’s see now, unemployment is over 9% (for those of you from Palm Beach County, FL, that would be ABOVE 8%), Gitmo is still open, troop are still in Iraq (and Obama sent more troops to Afghanistan), and anyone who has a clue and is honest will tell you Obamacare will skyrocket Health Care costs while reducing quality. If Obama was a Republican, we’d be told how he is the greatest liar in history. As President’s go, Obama has been quite dishonest. Also, the only successes he has to his name are in areas where he has continued George W. Bush’s policies (see: the capture of Bin Laden thanks to Bush era interrogation techniques and an Iraq-style surge in Afghanistan).

Sarah Palin will absolutely go after Obama on all these things. That’s one of the biggest reasons she can win: she will tell America what the Drive-By Media refuses to report. She will go after Obama with all the fury of a mother bear robbed of her cubs. She’s not afraid of the ad homonym attacks from Liberals, because she’s already been hit with all they have and is still standing! The Lamestreamers tried to call her an accessory to murder because she used a rhetorical devise targeting Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords’ district as a congressional seat that Republicans can win, and that didn’t work. Sarah Palin is not afraid to be slandered. She just proves the slander wrong and moves on with her life.

Thirdly, and I can’t stress this enough, Sarah Palin can win because she will effectively communicate Conservatism. Rush Limbaugh has said for years that “real Conservatism wins every time it’s effectively communicated.” It’s true. That’s why Reagan won in 1980 and 1984. It’s why George W. Bush won in 2000 (even if he didn’t live up to true Conservatism as President). Likewise, I believe failing to be Conservative (and to effectively communicate it) is the reason George H.W. Bush lost in 1992 and why Bob Dole and John McCain lost in 1996 and 2008 respectively. Palin is a genuine, Constitutional Conservative who will stand for those values 110%. She will not back down on this to be seen as “moderate” to please the Drive-By Media (who won’t be pleased with those “moderates” anyway, so long as they have an “R” next to their name). She will stand up for her values.

Finally, because this is Biblical Conservatism, I would be remiss if I did not mention that Sarah Palin is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. For all the Liberal speeches about “separation of church and state” (which, by the way, is not in the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, or any other founding document), the LORD remains the ultimate kingmaker in this world. There are times that He gives us over to the foolish desires of our heart, as He did when He gave Israel King Saul. However, He also delivers nations from foolish leaders, and installs a person after His own heart.

And afterward they asked for a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will. – Acts 13:21-23

I believe that part of the reason that Sarah Palin can be elected is that she will have Jesus Christ in her corner. Look, I’m not going to get into whether or not Obama claims Christianity here, but the fact if he is a Christian, he’s failing to live up to his faith (see his support of the murder of unborn children in the name of “choice” and his failure to support Israel). King Saul was an Israelite, but he was failing to serve the LORD so God replaced him with King David, a man after His own heart.

Sarah Palin most definitely can absolutely win the Republican nomination, and as I’ve said before, I believe she would mop the floor with Obama in the general election. I believe this for the very reasons I’ve listed above. Personally, I have reason to believe that she will run for President. I also believe that she will win. I have a prophetic word which God gave me in 2008 shortly after Obama was elected to back that belief. I also have solid logic supporting that word. So do not believe the baloney by the Drive-By Media. They are quaking in their boots at the thought of Palin running against Obama. She can win, and I believe, if she runs, she will win.

Despite the Left’s Best Efforts, Here Comes Sarah Palin

0In the past week, both Mike Huckabee and Donald Trump announced they would not seek the Republican Nomination for the Presidency, while Newt Gingrich officially announced his candidacy. The field is starting to take shape. Yet those of you who read Biblical Conservatism regularly know, my personal top choice hasn't made an official decision, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

As I have discussed in a post that remained one of the most popular in the brief history of this blog (1), I believe the Left has shown us just how much they fear Sarah Palin. They've spent close to three years now trying to tear her down. It's not working. Many have speculated that Palin will get into the 2012 Republican fray. Those who have heard her speak without the Drive-By Media playing "gotcha" with her find her to be an intelligent, well spoken, principled Conservative with real values who has the experience and the fortitude to do the right things for the country.

She has yet to announce whether or not she is going to run for President, her numbers with Republicans are actually quite strong. As a person who has not even declared herself a candidate, she is currently in 2nd place amongst GOP prospective candidates in a Gallup Poll published on Tuesday. (2) In that poll 18% of Republicans named Palin their choice for Republican nominee out of a field of 10 candidates and prospective candidates. Only Mitt Romney polled higher at 20% (and that is within the poll's margin for error.)

Further analysis shows that Palin is the most recognizable candidate among the field, being recognized by 96% of those polled (what rock the other 4% of Republicans spent the last three years under is beyond me). Also, she has the third highest positive intensity score, behind only fellow Tea Party darlings Michelle Bachmann and Herman Cain. On a side note, it's interesting to me that the 3 most favorably viewed individuals are the three who are the straight shooters who aren't afraid to go toe to toe with Barrack Obama on his Liberal Socialist policies.

Yesterday I discussed the "tells" that the Media is giving to show us how weak Obama's re-election prospects are in 2012. I've said before that the Left shows how afraid they are of particular candidates not by the people who they state aloud who they fear but by whom they go to the mat to tear down. The Drive-By Media has put more effort into tearing down Sarah Palin than any other Republican, period. They've gone after her harder than they went after George W. Bush, for crying out loud! Through it all, she has stayed strong and stuck to her guns. She has become much stronger in her public discourse than she was in 2008. Anyone who saw her speech to a Tea Party rally several weeks back knows that she's ready for a fight, whether that be as a candidate or as a supporter. (3)

Some believe the Drive-By Media when they say Palin can't win. I, for one, believe what Rush Limbaugh said a couple months ago, and I quote (as best my memory recalls), "She will mop the floor with Obama." I could not agree more. Palin will not be afraid to go after Obama on his record, on his ridiculous spending, on the 9.2% unemployment, on the $4 per gallon gas and Obama's lack of an energy policy to solve that problem. She is rhetorically very candid. She tells it like it is without spin or filler. She is the perfect answer to Obama, who is nothing but spin and filler. She has run a business, so she knows how to create jobs (hint: the answer isn't more government). The business she ran was the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, so she understands the implications and necessities of responsible oil drilling. She was also the governor of Alaska, which is one of our nation's top oil producing states.

Some say Palin is too polarizing. I ask this: What would you call Obama? Uniting? The Drive-Bys keep showing cooked polls that say huge numbers of Republicans wouldn't vote for Palin. Right…so we're supposed to believe RINOs would rather have Obama? Not likely. One of the things that define a RINO is a person who votes for the person with the (R) next to their name. As I've said numerous times before, the Drive-Bys and the Democrats are terrified of Palin as a Presidential nominee. Fully 42% of Americans call themselves Conservative. (4) If she convinces 1/3 of the people who call themselves Moderates, (a mere 11% of voters) she would defeat Obama if he gets all the Liberals and 2/3 of Moderates. For the record, that's a very generous expectation for a President who has terrible approval numbers.

I realize Palin has not declared her candidacy and has stated that she is still considering the possibility as recently as last night on Sean Hannity's show. That's what makes this showing impressive. She isn't campaigning officially, she hasn't even announced her candidacy, yet she is one of the top ranking potential candidates. The Left tried to tear down Sarah Palin. It failed miserably. So here comes Sarah Palin, whether it be as a candidate or as a supporter. Here's hoping it's as a candidate.
