Why Sarah Palin Can Win in 2012

With Sarah Palin's bus tour across America in full force, the debate is hot about whether or not she can win the White House in 2012 if she was the Republican nominee. Thanks to the Left's smear campaign against Palin, some Republicans doubt that Palin could indeed beat Obama. These Republicans think that Palin's image has been so damaged by the Drive-By Media that it couldn't be overcome.

Not surprisingly to those who read this blog daily, I think they’re dead wrong. I don’t buy their premise, not even a little. There are several reasons for this belief. First off, I know that no amount of false reporting can stand up to an individual's personal encounter with somebody. As a Born-Again Christian, I know what it's like to be stereotyped, and to have people find out they’re wrong about those stereotypes.

Popular culture has labeled Born-Again Christians as judgmental, fundamentalist jerks who want to beat people over the head with the Bible and force people to become Christians with threats of Hell and damnation. They tend to think that the deceiver Harold Camping (the guy who claimed to know the date of the Rapture) is a typical Christian. (Actually, in every corner of the Bible-believing worldwide Church of Jesus Christ, Christians felt he was a deceiver and worth ignoring.) When people meet me, they find out that I'm not a judgmental fundamentalist jerk, but rather that I am a passionate Christian who recognizes that I received an underserved pardon for my sins through the blood of Jesus Christ and that I want to share this wonderful good news with everyone so that they can also receive the same pardon by putting their faith in Christ!

When people find out that I am a Born-Again Christian, and meet other friends of mine who share my faith, they realize that the stereotypes they believed are wrong. They find out that a combination of a few bad eggs, a few more good eggs who had bad moments publicly, and a lot of false stories about Christians had given them a false impression of Christians.

The same is true about Sarah Palin. Most of the Americans who truly believe Palin is either a dunce or an evil genius only know her from the mass media attack dog job perpetrated on her, whether that be through editing her statements or the typical media "gotcha" job that they play in interviews with any Republican. Once Palin is out in front of Americans, they will find out that they were lied to...that she isn't an evil genius or a dunce, but rather that she is an intelligent, patriotic American with great ideas for how to fix our country’s current troubles. In short, they will find out their impression of Sarah Palin was wrong.

The Media can lie to people to a point, but they trust their own eyes and ears more than a news broadcast. When they meet Palin at a campaign rally or appearance, they will realize they were fed false information about her and they will be willing to vote for her. This leads me to the second reason Palin can win: Barrack Obama.

Regardless of what the Media is trying to sell about how unbeatable Obama will be, Obama is highly beatable. I’ve spent a good deal of time over the past month or so discussing this very topic. Regardless of claims that we’re out of the recession and that the economy is growing, we’re still in a recession.

Unemployment is at 9%. Gas prices are $4 per gallon. Inflation is rampant, so even though people are out of work or, if they are still employed, under a wage freeze at their job, meaning that while prices go up their paycheck remains the same. Obama’s only solution is spend more taxpayer money and borrowed money (which hasn’t worked at all thus far or historically). The reason Palin can win over Obama is simple: She is not afraid to go after Obama on his terrible, terrible record.

Palin will attack Obama on his broken promises. Do these sound familiar?

- If we pass the Stimulus, unemployment won’t go above 8%.
- If we elect Obama, he’ll close Gitmo.
- If we elect Obama, our troops will come home from Iraq.
- Obamacare will decrease your Health Care costs.

Let’s see now, unemployment is over 9% (for those of you from Palm Beach County, FL, that would be ABOVE 8%), Gitmo is still open, troop are still in Iraq (and Obama sent more troops to Afghanistan), and anyone who has a clue and is honest will tell you Obamacare will skyrocket Health Care costs while reducing quality. If Obama was a Republican, we’d be told how he is the greatest liar in history. As President’s go, Obama has been quite dishonest. Also, the only successes he has to his name are in areas where he has continued George W. Bush’s policies (see: the capture of Bin Laden thanks to Bush era interrogation techniques and an Iraq-style surge in Afghanistan).

Sarah Palin will absolutely go after Obama on all these things. That’s one of the biggest reasons she can win: she will tell America what the Drive-By Media refuses to report. She will go after Obama with all the fury of a mother bear robbed of her cubs. She’s not afraid of the ad homonym attacks from Liberals, because she’s already been hit with all they have and is still standing! The Lamestreamers tried to call her an accessory to murder because she used a rhetorical devise targeting Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords’ district as a congressional seat that Republicans can win, and that didn’t work. Sarah Palin is not afraid to be slandered. She just proves the slander wrong and moves on with her life.

Thirdly, and I can’t stress this enough, Sarah Palin can win because she will effectively communicate Conservatism. Rush Limbaugh has said for years that “real Conservatism wins every time it’s effectively communicated.” It’s true. That’s why Reagan won in 1980 and 1984. It’s why George W. Bush won in 2000 (even if he didn’t live up to true Conservatism as President). Likewise, I believe failing to be Conservative (and to effectively communicate it) is the reason George H.W. Bush lost in 1992 and why Bob Dole and John McCain lost in 1996 and 2008 respectively. Palin is a genuine, Constitutional Conservative who will stand for those values 110%. She will not back down on this to be seen as “moderate” to please the Drive-By Media (who won’t be pleased with those “moderates” anyway, so long as they have an “R” next to their name). She will stand up for her values.

Finally, because this is Biblical Conservatism, I would be remiss if I did not mention that Sarah Palin is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. For all the Liberal speeches about “separation of church and state” (which, by the way, is not in the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, or any other founding document), the LORD remains the ultimate kingmaker in this world. There are times that He gives us over to the foolish desires of our heart, as He did when He gave Israel King Saul. However, He also delivers nations from foolish leaders, and installs a person after His own heart.

And afterward they asked for a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will. – Acts 13:21-23

I believe that part of the reason that Sarah Palin can be elected is that she will have Jesus Christ in her corner. Look, I’m not going to get into whether or not Obama claims Christianity here, but the fact if he is a Christian, he’s failing to live up to his faith (see his support of the murder of unborn children in the name of “choice” and his failure to support Israel). King Saul was an Israelite, but he was failing to serve the LORD so God replaced him with King David, a man after His own heart.

Sarah Palin most definitely can absolutely win the Republican nomination, and as I’ve said before, I believe she would mop the floor with Obama in the general election. I believe this for the very reasons I’ve listed above. Personally, I have reason to believe that she will run for President. I also believe that she will win. I have a prophetic word which God gave me in 2008 shortly after Obama was elected to back that belief. I also have solid logic supporting that word. So do not believe the baloney by the Drive-By Media. They are quaking in their boots at the thought of Palin running against Obama. She can win, and I believe, if she runs, she will win.

  1. A TRANSGENDER SPIN-OFF

I'm a little kid and I feel that inside of me there is a real adult.
Yes, I have what you could say is an "adult identity." I know I was born an adult because I never did choose to be an adult.
Since I'm really, really an adult deep down inside, why is it I'm not allowed to go to "adult only" places and act like adults?
I mean, kids in Palestine can carry adult guns. Kids in other Muslim places can cut off heads in videos. And kids in San Francisco can watch gays having sex in public, so why can't "adult" kids like me act like those adults?
If a man can be the "woman" inside of him, and if a woman can be the "man" she says is inside of her, I demand to live out the "adult identity" that I know is really, really inside of me!
Since a cat may think he's the "mouse" inside of him, and since our "Christian" President can be the "Muslim" inside of him, I demand the right to be the transbeing adult that was inside of me even before I was born!
